The baguette diamond was originally created during the Art Deco era in France in the 1920s. It was named a “baguette” diamond because the elongated shape resembles a French baguette. The baguette diamond has a modern appearance and is extremely popular today, however, it is actually has a vintage history that was established in the roaring 20s Paris.
