Heart Shaped Diamond Center with Half Eternity Multi Row Diamond Band Engagement Ring GIA Certified
- Description
The heart shaped Diamond's history began in 1463, referenced in a letter from the Duke of Milan. The cut gained significant royal and symbolic meaning in the 16th century, due to an exchange of a heart shaped Diamond in 1562 between Mary, Queen of Scots and Queen Elizabeth 1. This exchange represented association with friendship and goodwill. Due to the intricate skill required for the delicate cut and the precious nature of the stone, heart shaped Diamonds were initially a symbol of luxury and sentiment for royalty and the wealthy. Today, heart shaped Diamonds are associated with romance, love, adoration, sentiment and make a highly symbolic engagement ring choice.
